Windows Mobile 7 at the MWC

The Wall Street Journal released inside information that confirms that Windows Mobile 7 will be presented this year at the MWX. Like always, Steve Ballmer will be presenting their newest operating system on stage. Many have been eagerly waiting for news on the newest version of Windows Mobile. Windows Mobile 6.5 treated us nicely but was still plagued by the complicated backbone that Windows Mobile was built on. Microsoft promises to revolutionize Windows Mobile with the 7th edition. We will see in time if they will be able to keep that promise.

MWC Windows Mobile 7 rumours!

We all know that Microsoft will give a big press conference in Barcelona for the Mobile World Congress that will take place next week. Details have emerged on WM7 that many were patiently waiting for.

Folks at PPCGeeks have received interesting little details concerning this.

- The interface will look a lot like the one used on Zune HD (Not much of a surprise but I personally do not like the interface a lot)

- Apparently it won’t support multitasking (Very disappointed with this)

- No initial Flash support (Adobe might arrange that)

- Full integration to many social networks including Xbox Live

Apparently no hardware will be announced but we already know that LG announced theirs for September. So tune in for more information after the MWC!
